- THE UN-EDITED "ABOUT ME" SECTION - I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY READ:
I've been addicted to learning internet marketing for over 3 years now. After learning every single marketing strategy & finding every clever resource I could, (not to mention becoming the programmer & designer & copywriter in the process)...I wake one day & find I've been going nowhere pretty FAST! Just like probably a lot of self-proclaimed or aspiring online marketers, I've been in the cycle of digesting the same old rehashed stuff that a lot of the successful gurus make available to the public only AFTER they've already capitalized on it and by that time they are reselling it (sourcecode or info products, etc), in most cases, it no longer works.
I've just gotten to the point where I am just fed up with believing anything online (not that there isn't good or valuable info out there)...But just that I realize I just need to follow my OWN way...and stop trying to do what the "Gurus" do. Because its NEVER going to be truly authentic or really worth much of anything to me (or probably anyone) if you can't really own it & come from my own experience and heart when I tell it.
I think that one of the most effective things you can ever do as an online marketer is to simply create something that you feel good about, that you are proud of and then get it out there. And get as much feedback as you can from whoever you think your product will be of most value to. And then refine your product or system only AFTER you've already put it out there. Because otherwise you will either a) NEVER do anything until you think you have the "PERFECT" System or product...which does NOT exist! (or atleast is only perfect for YOU), or b) You will NEVER be successful, because you will spend the rest of your life learning, and preparing and listening to what OTHER people tell you to do online...and your idea will forever remain just an IDEA...and how fun & rewarding is that?
From my experience, it has always felt pretty depressing, as I myself...have become an EXPERT in.
So, if you get this...and this makes sense to you...I am so happy to hear! I am going to be living proof...that in these next few months...I will become more successful than I've EVER been...because I am about to go against EVERYTHING I have ever learned online.
***MY LITTLE EXPERIMENT***
(Starting today - August 31? 2007 at 20:24 hours)
ALL I am going to do is STOP strategizing and STOP learning for these next few months...and instead...I am going to start LIVING & having more fun...I am going to get OFF this darn computer 16+ hours a day...and start promoting my creation as much as possible! Even though I KNOW it is not yet "perfect" and I STILL don't have a "perfect" system.
This is my "Declaration of Internet Independence". And I am very happy to help you (whoever you are reading this post) to become a successful online marketer or entrepreneur, yourself, as I'm aspiring to be...because it makes the journey all the more sweeter. So, if you'd like to do a joint venture together or something that would help benefit us both...I'd love to hear from you!
In the meantime...
I hope that all your website wishes come true!

I saw your video you seem like a nice guy...and pretty real. I wonder why you would say something rude about me, though, and comment about me having "googley eyes". That's really not tactful. I mean, its one thing if you thought my OnlineMarketingGenie video sucked THAT much that you would add me to your Prestigious "Top 3 Crap List" (really, I'm honored:) haha! )...but when you start poking fun about how I actually LOOK personally, that's pretty low. That says a lot about someone's character.
I think you have a really good theme for your social network site...its definitely a good way to position yourself as an expert...(why didn't I think of that?) In my personal opinion though, you'd probably garner a lot more respect and interest from subscribers & other marketers if you were to stay professional and avoid the personal insults in your reviews.
But, hey...to each his own! I guess we all have our own "style".
